My name is Aaron Ho, I was born in Malaysia and spent most of my childhood there before moving back to Singapore. Growing up in both Malaysia and Singapore, I experienced the rich blend of cultures these neighboring countries share. With common heritage, both countries offer a unique mix of Malay, Chinese, and Indian influences, making us a part of the vibrant and multicultural society.

I came to Oregon in 2020 and completed my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Oregon State University. In 2023, I began pursuing my master's degrees at Portland State University, one in Engineering and Technology Management and the other in Finance. Throughout my career, I have gained experience in diverse fields such as working as a student researcher for Oregon Sea Grant, manufacturing technician, and project engineer, which has allowed me to engage with people from various backgrounds and cultures. Currently, I am a grant analyst and a student ambassador for the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science.

I am excited to be a part of this program that allows me to share more about my culture!
