Hello everyone! My name is Mia and I grew up in Iserlohn, Germany (close to Dortmund). I moved to the US in 2020 as an Au pair and fell in love with the US ever since. I got to know PSU due to an au pair meeting at the Saturday Farmers market on campus and always dreamed of going to university here but didn’t think it was possible. After researching possible ways of studying in the US and thanks to my acceptance to the school with a scholarship I realized that my dream can become reality and I am so proud and happy to say that I made it come true. During my studies at PSU I noticed myself talking to my fellow students about my life in Germany all of the time. Since I love sharing about my culture, traditions and other typical German behaviors, I am really excited to be a part of the ICSP and to get so many opportunities to do what I love the most.
